A Man of Wisdom (1 of 1)

Your Story Has Value.

“It used to be that you had to earn the right to be heard.” – Ravi Zacharias

There are those who make a living giving lectures to the many on a topic they have chosen to be heard. This person is generally someone who stands atop one or more documented accomplishments. Otherwise, why would the masses pay the extraordinary fee to hear them. Those of us looking for advice want someone to help pull us up. They are on top so they must “know” the way.

I am in no way phrasing the above paragraph within a context of contempt. People of “accomplishment”, however one defines it, should be sought after. I have learned much from John Maxwell, Stephen Covey, Ravi Zacharia, and many others. The problem is that full focus upon these “giants” limits and narrows our field of vision. Additionally, when life events happen to them, they suddenly become unworthy to look upon and everything they have said in the past that was accurate becomes questionable. I believe, more strongly, that if we are on the correct path then men/women of wisdom will not have to be sought after. They will be placed before us.

There are over 8 billion people on this earth. Wisdom and knowledge exist in more than a handful of people. Every living being has experiences and lessons learned that if shared, will help others. I experienced that today in a small group of men who are Faith Driven Entrepreneurs. These men listened and gave their thoughts and ideas. It was exactly what I needed, and I write this with a brighter outlook of the future than I had before this morning. No platitudes, just good old-fashioned truth. Wisdom cries out in the streets. We just have to be willing to listen.

Seven Pillars Photography LLC., is my company with one goal: To Capture, Display, Preserve, and Tell the Story of You. I am accomplishing this by capturing 3 – 4 music events a week. Photos are displayed on my website. These unique occurrences are preserved and told in my books and quarterly magazine, SEVEN.

My area of coverage are the people who make Austin the “Live Music Capital of the World.” These amazing people energize me with their determination and passion for their craft. I recently talked to a man who owns two guitar repair stores. The customizations his team does are accurate to the width of a human hair. This amazing person was unknown to me a few months ago. He will be in my second edition of SEVEN.

You are a story waiting to be told. I would love to have the honor to capture it. When words are not enough, Seven Pillars will put the focus on you.
