Imagine – It is Hard to Do

John Lennon was not wrong, “Imagining” is easy to do but it less likely to be engaged because everything is being forced before us. Movies show rather than insinuate. We have to see a person vomit rather than just hear the action. The “killing” cannot be known unless we see the brain particles splatter on the windshield. We are no longer presented with facts for us to interpret, we are presented with someone’s viewpoint for us to agree or disagree with. The validity of the statement is side-stepped because our attention is focused upon the biases of the presenter or the company they work for. Opinions are worshipped because everybody is right, you just disagree. Truth is hated, because it is unyielding. Discernment is not nurtured so we are losing the ability decide accurately.
