Adrianna Maldonado – On Stage

The theatrics of Adrianna Maldonado is a show within a show. She captivates you from the first song and then takes you on predetermined adventure of sight and sound. Her changeovers keep you curious and interested in your next step with her. Lead singer of “Keepers of the Rock”, it is hard to believe that she is shy and scared of the limelight. Being true, it is also true that a transformation definitely occurs when she is on stage. Here is Adrianna Maldonado.

1). Who is Adrianna Maldonado?

She is an empath, some may say a Witchy Woman. She is a painter, sculptor, a theater kid at heart and the mother of four beautiful children. Music runs through her veins and is the very thing that keeps her heart beating. She is shy, private, and scared of the limelight. She is the main personality of this Rockstar artist.

2). Tell me abouy your projects.

Keepers of The Rock is an upbeat cover band that not only brings music but performance art as well. It has five of the most truly amazing musicians bringing joy and life to the songs they cover.

Eternal Sunshine is where I let my creative brain take over. All originals, it is a dark melodic sound with haunting vocals to tie it all together.

3). Give me your interpretation of Austin Music scene past, present, future?

I didn’t get to experience the old Austin music scene but I remember always hearing Austin is the music capital of the world.

I entered the scene in 2016. Being a part of the live music scene was a dream come true for me. In the summer of 2021 we opened for Exile and I got a huge compliment from them. I was truly honored. After everything shut down during Covid, and a lot of venues stopped having live music it seems like that “Music capital of the World,” statement started to fade away. 

My hope is that in the future there will be more venues for live music. Music is a universal language we can’t let it die.

4). AI and Music, your thoughts.

I think we need to be careful with the artificial intelligence in all aspects but don’t really have an opinion on it affecting our music. Real humans performing live is just something you can’t recreate in a robot. 

5). What question you are never asked? 

Who is Lady Dre? – She is an altar. I have multiple personalities and Lady Dre is the singer/performer. Once the music starts playing she is in full control. She is fierce, confident, a perfectionist, and loves the limelight. She is what rocks you to your core.
