Chris Duarte – An Explosion of Talent

Chris Duarte is a nuclear explosion occurring during an earthquake while a Tsunami hits the coast. February 16, 2024, at Sam’s Burger Joint Music Hall Chris gave his audience 2+ hours of action packed music. In this timeframe, the camera was away from my eye for only 10 minutes scattered throughout his performance. From the first note his body never stops moving. It is why I took 9100+ photos. The power of his music is seen and heard not only in his voice but in his movements. His lightning quick actions can occur at anytime and to catch them, a photographer has to be shooting prior.

My photography of Chris has been sporadic throughout the years but when I have heard and captured him, he has never disappointed. I witnessed this man, at the Dallas International Guitar Festival 2023, bend down and jump around the stage while playing his guitar. It was simply incredible. Chris Duarte is a force of nature.
